Patent and Trademark Attorneys of Ustervall at the webinar „Intellectual Property in Business“
A webinar on business related intellectual property issues took place on 30. September 2020, conducted by Sirje Kahu and Kadri Aua, Patent and Trademark Attorneys of Ustervall. The event was organized by with the ADAPTER cooperation network of Estonian universities and research institutions.
European Patent Attorney Sirje Kahu focused on patenting strategies, and differences between the European Patent and the prospective Unitary Patent. EU Trademark and Design Attorney KadrI Aua addressed copyright topics, and issues related to the ownership and exploitation of personal and economic IP rights in employer-employee relationship as well as in the cooperation between the R&D institutions and companies. Participants were provided with recommendations with regard to intellectual property subjects that need to be considered and agreed upon in R&D cooperation, employment and services contracts.
